Art Jam

A chance for local residents to relax and share in the joy of creativity!

Art Jam is free to attend and open to all levels of experience - including people who think they’re “rubbish at Art”!

Suitable for all ages, Art Jam sessions are encouraging, inclusive and playful - offering people the chance to experiment with a range of materials and creative processes. Every session is different - an opportunity to try new things, explore your creativity and be inspired by fellow Art Jammers!

Art Jam is led by BluerSkies Mindful Creatives - a local creative duo who believe passionately in the positive power of creativity for people’s wellbeing. Since the first session in May 2022, over 150 people have attended Art Jam and it’s become a popular mainstay of the Havering Changing programme, which is curated by local residents in our Steering Groups.

Art Jam sessions are currently running monthly at Mardyke Community Centre and are almost always fully booked, so if you fancy joining one get in there fast!
