Back in February 2023, we opened our first Creativity Hub at My Place, Harold Hill. Open every Saturday, the hub offers local residents the chance to get together and enjoy an uplifting cultural experience. Working closely with Harold Hill Craft, we're hosting an exciting programme of events - ranging from pottery and felt-making workshops, to gigs and cinema nights.
Harold Hill Craft is a collective formed by our steering group for the area, and is made up of some amazing local creatives and artisans. Their workshops offer people the opportunity to experience fascinating creative processes and techniques in a friendly and informal setting. Sessions are completely free to attend and mostly suitable for all ages, with adult supervision.
This is Havering Changing’s first Creativity Hub, set up to provide an ongoing source of social connection and creative outlet for people across Harold Hill. By offering a regular programme of activities and events, we have already started to cultivate a regular audience and seen the difference it has made. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to access and share creative experiences like these, and we hope to set up more Creativity Hubs across the borough.
Keep an eye on our Eventbrite page to book into weekly workshops at My Place.
Want to hire space with us at My Place?
