Let’s celebrate Diwali in Romford!

Following the success of last year's celebrations, we're bringing the joy of Diwali to Romford once more! Join us for an afternoon of fun activities and entertainment for all the family.

Drop-in activities from 12pm:

• Make a colourful diya (lamp) under the expert guidance of Blue Skies Creatives.

• Try your hand at Rangoli - a traditional (and very colourful!) Indian art form dating back some 5,000 years to the pre-Aryan period.

• Adorn yourself with some henna art! Henna is a temporary tattoo stain that is traditionally worn at South Asian weddings and many festivals.

The celebrations will end with a spectacular performance of Bollywood and Bhangra dancing - and no Diwali party is complete without dhol players to bring loads of energy!

Food and drink will be available throughout the afternoon from some great vendors!
