The Rising Sun – Photography Exhibition

A new exhibition at The Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch documents The Rising Sun, an immersive sound and light installation by art collective Variable Matter.

The Rising Sun celebrates the voices of nearly 100 people in Havering, mapping their histories and futures. It was presented in Romford Marketplace in July 2022 and attended by over 1500 visitors. This photographic exhibition shares a curated selection of photographic prints, audio and video developed throughout the project.

The free exhibition will be on from 09 September to 24 September and throughout the duration of the upcoming Blueprint: a festival of new ideas at Queen's Theatre Hornchurch.
