Spring arrives early with the Romford Window Garden!

The Romford Window Garden arrives this week when the first tutorial is launched on Friday 19th February on our brand new YouTube channel.

Artist Carlos Cortes will help you to use your creative flair to make colourful flowers, plants, and creatures to display in the windows of your home, creating a collective Spring Garden for all to see.

The Romford Window Garden is completely safe to participate in as it will be delivered remotely, in the form of online tutorials and workshops for those with access to the internet but also through creative packs and activity sheets that residents can pick up in Romford, Rush Green and Collier Row when doing their essential shopping.

Some of the workshops will be based on using basic craft materials contained in the packs, while others will look into the possibilities of using recycled materials, things that most of us use and discard, like plastic bags, packaging, or things we can find in our own larder, like pasta and dried food. In this way, everyone can participate and take their time to make their own creations.

Further tutorial will be launched on:

26th February

5th March

19th March

Keep your eyes open on social media and our website for details of where you can pick up packs and for details of our live Window Garden workshops on Saturday 13th March and Saturday 27th March when you can join our Carlos and ask questions!
