The People’s Kitchen, a touring community art project that aims to bring people together for a hot bowl of soup and meaningful dialogue, is set to arrive in Rainham, Havering from 8-18 March 2023.

Rice & Peas
The first major production for Blouse & Skirt! is Rice & Peas – a three-course, three-act immersive dining experience. The show will be touring to Harold Hill, Orchard Village, Rainham ad Romford at much loved community venues, including Harold Hill Children’s Centre, Mardyke Community Centre, Rainham Royals, and the YMCA in Romford.
The Rising Sun – Photography Exhibition
A new exhibition at The Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch documents The Rising Sun, an immersive sound and light installation by art collective Variable Matter.
Secret Artist Exhibition
The Rainham Creativity Squad (Havering Changing) and Rainham Hall set out to uncover all the hidden and unknown artists of Rainham, RM13.

The Romford Changemakers and Chinatown Stories
On Sunday 23rd January, the Havering Changing steering group, the Romford Change Makers, headed into London's Soho for Chinatown Stories, a walking tour of the area.
Member Serena told us: "I thoroughly enjoyed this - it was fascinating to learn about the history of the area and the communities that have called it home. There was a great balance between hearing information and having time to wander and ponder."

Choose to ReUse
The YMCA Thames Gateway in Romford hosted Havering Changing’s Choose to Reuse on September 11th. They invited the public and residents of the YMCA to get involved in creative activities designed to help us be more mindful about reducing our waste, and some tips and ideas on how to reuse or recycle it instead.
Jazz Orchestra Delights Romford Market
The Andrew Linham Jazz Orchestra took place on Saturday, 18th September in the church grounds of St Edward's The Confessor in Market Place, Romford.

Comedy String Quartet Kicks off Romford Festival
The popular comedy cabaret-performing band Graffiti Classics made a very welcome return for Havering Changing to Romford’s Mercury Shopping Centre for a joyful, fun performance in full view of the busy and bustling Saturday shoppers and traders on Saturday 4th September 2021.
